Yeah... nobody is at the office, ergo they're not wasting away their shift on MB instead of doing what they're being paid to do.

I always chalked it up to the fact that we have a lot of members in their early 20s, and people in their early 20s tend to have lives and be out doing stuff on the weekends.

Meh, not me :(

Except on March 9th I'll be going to see a friend's band at a promotional party being thrown by the Hard Rock in Toronto... I won't be surprised if that's all the excitement I get until I'm finally done with school, haha.

How to put link in signature

Sorry, I know I might be off topic here, but I have been trying and make a link in my signature like I have seen many people do.
Now it has been removed twice. I guess its not allowed.
But how come they have a hyperlink function if you are not allowed to use it?
Does anyone know if its allowed or not?

It's not allowed if it's for promotional purposes. You can find our full rules here. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

On a two hour drive to Los Angeles today, I showed my 13 year old sister Captain Beefheart's Safe As Milk since she's been listening to a lot of blues and she absolutely loved it. Welcome to the dark side, mwahahaha.

AM radio became my favorite thing in the world today. It's ridiculous and cuts out all the time, so you get so many bizarre conversations cutting out, replaced with snippets of others. I'd been skimming through in the car with my friend, and we heard The Decemberists' "Yankee Bayonet (I Will Be Home Then)" and decided to leave it tuned to that frequency. Suddenly, it switched over to some other broadcast, which was simply some old man with a deep raspy voice practically screaming, "Remember the Maine, to Hell with Spain! Remember the Maine, to Hell with Spain!" over and over again, before cutting back to the song about thirty seconds later. It was beautiful.

I also played way more guitar than any girl should. My fingers are a mess of skin falling off like I'm a leper or something. I actually played today until my fingers (well, just my ring finger) bled, and that's with fairly thin Ernie Ball strings and low action.

I love it when that happens! My brother used to record snippets of am radio for use in his quirky tunes he makes. Some pretty funny stuff.
