Just came home from a work party. It's the only party that they throw for the year, and the bosses (multimillionaires, mind you) spend around 10,000 dollars on the party on average, and this year has been pretty good to our company.
There was an open bar (and I mean mother****ing open, they had everything and no caps on it) that I took great advantage of, since they didn't card. There was also a great amount of delicious food, it started off with a cheese-bar that had an alleged 3 year old minimum, then moved on to personalized dishes from a variety of chefs that asked us what style of foods that we liked. I had a fantastic salmon and eggplant pho soup with a type of bread that I forget that was coated with truffle shavings. I had to keep reminding myself to eat slowly and savour that ****e because it was one of the best dinners that I've ever had. The rest of the night was opened to a cocktail party and we had raffles and giveaways and such (none of which I won), and I had a great time. Came home to find that I got an A in political science and a B on my anthropology final, which gave me an A in that class as well. It's too bad that all of this great news for me came on a day that witnessed such tragic and gruesome events.

Don't say that about yourself. Any Paladin would be lucky to have you.

So tonight I got asked to the German Market in town by some people from my old school. Now, I don't like these people much and I really don't like the German Market either but I'm so bad at excuses and desperate for any excuse to go and do something that I said yes anyway. As I expected it turned out badly. The highlight was probably being groped by one of them who hadn't even had enough alcohol in his system to earn a pardon for it from me. I'm not going to keep contact with those people any more, that's for sure.

I can't remember the last time I had a day as great as today. I made a delicious egg and bacon bagel for breakfast then hit the gym for killer upper-body workout. I then changed the oil on my new Honda, replaced the windshield wipers, and refilled my washer fluid, then went to an Asian market to get some groceries for my stir fry tonight. I then went to my local GameStop to get Farcry 3 where I flirted with a girl in line and got a date for the Santa Claus pub crawl tonight. I was then walking out to my car when a cute Asian girl asked if I wanted to make a donation to raise awareness about sex slavery, which is something I feel quite strongly against and would very much like to work on stopping when I become a cop. We went to a local sandwich shop and talked a little bit, and I got some info about doing what she does as well because I'm thinking about leaving this town for a little while come summer when my degree is finished. She agreed to meet up tomorrow to go ice skating, so that's two successful dates I've got scheduled, which is pretty impressive consider the last time I had sex I think dinosaurs were roaming the Earth.
I think this song pretty much encapsulates how I feel right now. |

I think LuckyLoveXXX would probably sum it up best, with her usual
"Hell yeah mother****ers!!!" Good shout on Earle too: what a guy! Great album too.

Did an extreme amount of Christmas shopping (my bank account is weeping) and wrapped presents. I am so awful at wrapping gifts. I should've taken the easy way out and purchased gift bags and tissue paper, but I decided to (wo)man up and just put in the effort to wrap.
The results are varied, but I'm thrilled with the gift wrap I purchased. None of it is actually Christmas themed; one roll is orange and white stripes, one a brocade pattern, and the other University of Kentucky...but I'm also pumped that I know have gift wrap I can use for birthdays and what-have-you as well. And I may suck at wrapping, but I'm pretty handy with curling ribbon.
