Called back the store manager at Office Depot and he says he needs to hear from the DM before he can tell me if i'm hired or not.

I always assumed that Office Depot and businesses like it function just like a paper-based RPG. I expect only the most experienced players to ask me if I need help deciding which size of 3-ring binder to buy. Some Level 1 Thief won't do me, or their employer, any good.

The DM needs to know a player's stats, equipment, and level before he can adequately judge the player's dice roll.

I'll do that and report back if I get the job.

Just kidding, but that'd be funny as hell.
