I think that they usually pick you when you first meet them out of a bunch, he totally did. I've seen that with lots of cats though, at the rescue they'd be standoffish with everyone until one day someone would come in, and they'd love right up to that person and get taken home

We're not sure what was up. Him being 3/4 St. Bernard, (Read: over 225lbs of dog) we couldn't get him in the car to take him to the vet, but mom's borrowing an SUV tomorrow to take him. It was really scary, though. He's sleeping in her house tonight, and Wikipedia has let me know that St. Bernards rarely live over 7 years, and are prone to epilepsy and seizures. He's not full St. Bernard, again, 3/4, but he's around 12 now.

Really worried about him.

EDIT: Another thing I forgot to mention that I've noticed the past few days. I was in crazy buying mode with my 14-year-old sister at the mall, and we found ourselves at the Belk perfume counter. The lady at the counter was really nice, gave us samples of various fragrances, and let us try out the Nicki Minaj scent. (My little sister is a huge Nicki Minaj fan. She's 14 and a varsity cheerleader. Go figure; they all love Nicki.)

Anyway, it smelled fantastic, and I ended up buying one of the fancy bottles of the stuff for $50. Wore it to work, and people kept telling me I smelled fantastic, and I got hit on five times at work. That was weird.

Then, I looked like utter garbage today, spritzed on a little Pink Friday, and stopped into the gas station to buy some beer and a Powerball ticket. Two guys in line behind me made a point of flirting with me, one asked for my number, and the male cashier winked at me for some inexplicable reason.

If I were into guys, I'd be set, I guess. This stuff is ridiculous. I've never had such insane reactions because of a fragrance I was wearing.
I can smell you from here.

So... how YOU doin?

A bacterial infection of some sort if I recall correctly. We got him from a rest stop that he used to hang around with his sister.

Aw. At least it wasn't abuse. That's what I was scared of.

Nah he's still got the ear, it's just a little folded over still sometimes. It's odd. We do get a lot abused animals

This poor little guy was a victim of abuse, his mother was shot by some douchebag. She dragged herself and her babies to safety & the babies couldn't nurse on her for as long as they should have so that poor baby was like all skin and bones when I was holding him. People are ****ing awful.

Got that right.

One of my GF's cats (Sarina) is part of a litter from a cat that me and a friend rescued from certain death. We were about to start a game of disc golf, when this cat came out of nowhere and started rubbing on my legs. It was a domesticated black long hair (not sure what breed). We were wondering if it had gotten out from a nearby house and when we looked around, we saw two guys holding 4 pitbulls on leashes and pointing to us down at the bottom of a hill. They were going to release the pits on the cat. We scooped the cat up and took her to my friends house where she (we called her Karma) had a couple litters, but has since passed away. Sarina is THE best cat I have ever come across. She even plays fetch with pieces of wrapped hard candy. Kind of hard to get her to stop though once I start her up.

What the **** is WRONG with people?? How can you get pleasure out of the suffering of an innocent animal? ****s.

I harbour the hope that when they die, they'll go to a special sort of Hell where animals hunt them. See how those bastards like it then! God I'm so angry!!!!

I've went from actually hating cats (would never have harmed one though) to loving them, they're so cute. I believe it was lolcats that slowly changed my mind haha. I would like a kitty who wants to cuddle. I guess I will need to continue cuddling with Violet, even though she has already outgrown my lap and will grow into monster.

anyway, what made me think of that is a video on facebook my friend showed me last night, they didn't tell me what it was just said it was ridiculously sick. As soon as I realised it was a group of chavs pouring petrol over a poor dog I literally felt sick to my stomach. I don't understand how people can be randomly so violent without being provoked or anything. Just sickens me to be honest. If I ever seen anyone lay a finger on an animal I would literally beat the fucking shit out of them.
