At first I thought "climbed a mountain" was a metaphor. Or some sort of drug slang I wasn't aware of.

Make sure that the public schoolboy who's taking my place thanks to a few extra thousand pounds of tutelage leaves your place with his head jammed another metre up his arse, you condescending bastards.

Isn't Oxford a really expensive school anyway? You could just go somewhere cheaper.

English expression meaning that "he looks tough and knows how to handle himself in a fight etc" But I guess you probably knew that.

But it could easily be misunderstood, as meaning a person of sexual desire or someone edible if you have cannibalistic ways.

In Flyingpig's case, it could mean any of the three:)

I had absolutely no idea. I thought he had just come out to the whole board.

I didn't even know tasty meant that, tasty usually means you want a piece of that ass.

Same here. Now I have a new thing to say to confuse people. I love obscure British slang.

All I wanna do is get high. Nothing else. But I can't. No one answers their goddamn phone.

Went downtown and helped with a very impromptu puppet show for some kids in tough situations while they had free pictures with "Santa" taken. It's been a year or so since I last performed, and I have to say... I still got it.

We mostly did Christmas songs in various styles, but also randomly had an electro/hip hop rendition of "itsy bitsy spider" of all things. Two friends of mine did that with a big alien puppet we have, one worked the head while the other friend was the arms.

Anyway, a great time all around. Now I'm going to attempt to work on a paper, and then going out to eat for another friend's birthday.

Got pulled over today. I was speeding like mad on the Interstate, forgot to put my new registration sticker on my license plate, and didn't have my current insurance card with me, so that was awesome.

Because for some reason I tend to get REALLY ****ing lucky in horrible situations, I got away with a warning and a, "Just slow down, okay?"

I will probably never speed again, because I really don't want to press my luck. But that was something that could have ruined my entire month, but worked out in the end. I mean, we're talking a $600 ticket ruined my month. Thank the baby Jesus or something.

As an addendum, that was the first time I'd been pulled over in over five years.

Oh, and when I was getting gas, I decided it would be nice of me to pick up a teen magazine that very heavily featured One Direction for my fourteen-year-old "Directioner" sister. Her response was snatching the magazine from my hands, squealing, and collapsing onto the chaise. It was kind of amusing.

I have plans with her tomorrow for us to learn the "Gangnam Style" dance, and she's very insistent that I do this. I hardly ever get to see her with my hellish work schedule, and she's a good kid. Glad to get to spend time with her.

So far so good. Went for a walk around my complex in my NICE jacket, smoked a smoke, now I'm listening to some MGMT (their second album, not their first). Think I might watch a movie now.
