Had to go to Launchpad today to find temporary accommodation, and work with Oasis. We haven't found anything yet. We've been looking for a while and I have a week and a half to find somewhere, so I may end up in crisis accommodation which sucks. I'm trying to keep a level-head about it. Been looking on the Internet for sources and vacancies, there's hardly any. Apparently I'm not allegeable for crisis until the last week anyway, and most of the temp vacancies either require you to be working or studying. So I'm thinking and looking to take a quick course ASAP just to fit the requirement but the start of courses may prove a problem with the little time I have. I hope I find something, but either way I'm going to end up in crisis or temp for a while until I get approved for government housing or possibly after getting a job affording private rental...

I got yelled at by a teacher today for wearing a hoodie that, among other words, had the word "cocaine" on the back of it. I tried to explain that I was actually borrowing the hoodie, that even if I did own it it would be in no way indicative of some kind of lifestyle of drug abuse, that the school dress code does not condemn the word appearing on clothing in this form, that by seeing it little kids wouldn't be encouraged to go and try the drug seeing as they have lessons about how bad it is every other week and that I am 17 years old and feel that I shouldn't be subjected to the same kind of treatment as an 11 year old but nope, confiscated and if I caught a cold from being stuck outside it was obviously my fault for not obeying some arbitrary unwritten rule the school apparently now has. I'm now going to have to negotiate for the return of a hoodie that doesn't even belong to me from people who have no right to take it from me.

Please tell me he was like fifty. I like imagining a graying dude with a beer belly inhaling from a can of whipped cream.

I will. We call them "wiggers". I'm hoping that I shouldn't have to tell you what two words that is a combination of. And funny thing is, even though our term is more racist, they have basically been accepted as a normal part of culture over here. I guess because hip hop is a bigger part of our culture?
