I honestly didn't know this - I thought that sale to the general public was outlawed.

It's a great place to live, actually. Lots to do, great annual events, lots of work here (and if you speak 2 or more languages it's great because a lot of multinational corporations are based here), you can get a decent looking apartment in a good neighbourhood for a reasonable monthly rent... all of that.

There's lots of Serbians here as well, which is awesome because that means more excellent Serbian bakeries, restaurants, and bars . So I think you'd get on just fine here!

I think you should move here too. You've already lived in so many cities, so why not one more?

With food like this, it's no wonder Indian and Chinese are the two most popular foods here.
I love fish and chips but I'd really, really like to try the real thing from England. Fish fingers aren't that bad either, at least the kind we have here. I just slather it all in tartar sauce. I have such a weak spot for greasy, fattening food. I also thought Indian and Chinese were just so popular because of the massive amount of immigrants there.

You can get fireworks at 7/11 and other corner stores there.

Like a lot of things here it varies from state to state. In some places they are indeed illegal, but that's not true of the country as a whole.

When I came to I was feeling fine, but now I'm feeling a little off and I can't tell if it's the pot or my head.

In any case, if I die tonight in my sleep – I sincerely loved the human race, take good care of it.
Just to let you know... the whole "don't go to sleep if you have a concussion" thing is a myth. Obviously, it's not a good idea to go to sleep if you hit your head really bad, because you'll want to monitor yourself for symptoms of concussion, and you can't really do that while being asleep... but if you go to sleep with a concussion, sleeping will not cause you to die.

Just putting that out there, in case that's what you were referring to.

I'm having a big going away party for my soon-coming journey to Nicaragua, and some friends of mine, my cousin, my brother and I are forming a quick band for the event. We had our first band practice tonight, went awesome. My best friend had just gotten done with some Marine exercises so his voice wasn't at his best, but our instruments were tight for this being our very first practice, and my with my bro on bass we had a nice funky rhythm going throughout, which I was delighted by. This is the first time I've played in a band in almost a year. Felt good to do more than just jam for once.

Lineup:

Best friend on acoustic guitar and vocals, kinda folky countryish style.
Little bro on bass, playing what was essentially prog funk bass lines with a nice African feel to some of them.
Cousin on electric guitar. He's basically a young Yngwie Malmsteen. Best guitarist I know personally.
Myself on drums, playing all funky and groovy.

We also have another close friend who sings beautifully and plays guitar, but she had to work.

So basically for my party we have a funky folky southern rock band. I'm pretty stoked.
