The music scene there is jazz, blues and soul with live artists that play. So damn good.
I once sat on Sydney Harbour in the most amazing, glorious, temperatures, cold pint of lager in one hand, looking out across the water, the bridge, the Opera House and thought I could just stay there forever. Made even more sweet by checking the time, quickly doing some sums in my head to work out that it was just about the time people were getting up for work back home (I of course texted pictures to everyone) and was so relaxed I felt as though I could melt into the surroundings. I can't explain how great I think it would be to work there. I know working is totally different, and its a busy, busy place which could be very annoying when you arent just visiting. The job you describe, however, sounds really cool.

But it's all for a good cause, it helps cancer or AIDs victims or something out in some unspecified way.

I have no desire to grow a stache. I do however participate in the Aids walk every year and laugh at peoples staches.

I've only ever heard of a few incidents but it's not a concern there.

It's a very highly regarded bar, and really big so I can imagine it'll be hella' busy on the weekends especially. The actual bar (where they serve drinks) extends like a kilometre, it was jaw dropping. But if you want to sit in a bar where you could melt with the scenery, it's Opera Bar. So drinks on the house if I land it and anyone decides to tour Australia!

So I've been doing a little research today about what kind of bar and what they serve. Wow it's really extensive and didn't actually realise it's part of the Opera House (it should of been obvious enough though I was told that it wasn't).

It really sounds like a brilliant and elegant menu. There's so much to learn. They even have their own made drinks (Opera Bar Beer, Brut, Chardonnay). Cocktails sound very tasty and complicated haha.

I've spoken to the manager before and knows my previous boss, so I'm hoping it'll work in my favour. Especially since he was really fond of me.
