Naming a hedgehog after an echidna = Fail.

I'd name a mouse Knuckles.

Is that supposed to be a pun ?

Depends on what your definition of a "mouse" is. ;)

Well, I just got good news. Got a phone call from the company I interviewed for last week and they want to hire me for the Network Administrator position. They're offering 43K a year, and after 90 days it will be 45k a year. (It's not too shabby considering how low Louisiana's cost of living is) Full benefits. So... I start Monday. Win! Oh, and they are fine with me teaching at school until the end of the semester. I'll just have to come in a bit earlier/stay later on the days that I teach. Double win! I really didn't want to leave my students hanging, and the folks that interviewed me really appreciated that sentiment.

Haha Fred.
Thanks guys. It has been a long time coming. I basically spent 6 years in the Army and 2 in school for this moment. I guess it paid off. Now let's just hope I don't f*ck it up! First project is implementing Exchange and Active Directory... Must prepare for huge headaches. Wish I wasn't allergic to NSAIDs...

I hung out with a homeless gentleman today. Asked him if he wanted a coffee, he elected to go with a large strawberry milkshake. I believe he had schizophrenia, or a similar mental disorder. He was from India, and came in in 1977. The guy was a complete mess, mentally speaking. He alternated between repeating everything over and over, and staring off into space, intensely focused on things that I could not see. I gave him the info for a food giveaway that I participate in when I can, I only hope he remembers to take the card with him and go.
