I'd actually be very interested in hearing how you guys do that.

i have some clips

i don't think the law allows me to put them on the Net, though

anyway in both those trials, I was the assisting, not the lead counsel, so I didn't talk much

and they're all in English

No, I meant just make up some lawyer stuff in your native tongue in the voice thread so we can year you laywer it up.

Freebase Dali 09-07-2012 09:31 PM

Like, say... "OBJECTION.. Freebase Dali CANNOT be held accountable for this request!" In your native tongue.

Howard the Duck 09-07-2012 09:35 PM

^^I will, later

right now, I'm chilling out to some music

translation is "Bantahan, Yang Arif, Freebase Dali tidak boleh dikatakan sebagai terikat kepada Permohonan tersebut"

courts are bi-lingual here, BTW

Is it weird that I read that in an Asian accent? Like, I did all the vocal stretches and everything. My imagination is a pro.

Malay is pretty flat and guttural

there are hardly "tones"

i'd say the Cantonese dialect of Chinese is the hardest to learn - it has 9 tones

use the wrong tone and the listener will be very offended

use the wrong tone for "fried crab" and it comes out as "smelly cunt"

Worked twleve hours today after someone called in and they needed a hero. I stepped up the plate. Screamed my lungs out "singing" along to music on the way back home. I'm tied, but it was a good day all in all.

If I called a woman a fried crab anywhere else but in Louisiana, I'd expect resistance.
But here, fried softshell crab is a delicacy, and it would only mean that she is f*cking delicious as f*ck
