I don't have a copy. I primarily use Sonar, and have been using it for years, so it's going to be really hard to get used to Pro Tools. I got a chance during the class to mess around and explore in Pro Tools, and I know I'm going to have a hard time learning the new workflow. It might be a good idea for me acquire a copy of PT for my home PC to get more acquainted with it. If there's one thing that really drags me down creatively, it's having to search for how to do something in a music program. It took me a couple years to really learn the ins and outs of Sonar, and Sonar is far better in terms of workflow, customization, and intuitiveness... so I think my biggest hurdle is going to be learning the unintuitive nature of Pro Tools early enough to still use it to capacity before the class is over...

Well, I might lose staying at this apartment soon. My roommate might lose her job and there is no way we can come up with the rent. Finding another job has to happen real soon otherwise I'll have nowhere to go and I don't fancy being left on the streets again. So I'll have to hammer job search as hard as I can. I've tried a hell of a lot of bars everywhere for a while now but still no luck. Employment is terrible in Sydney. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do when the time comes...

:/

Don't you have unemployment benefit and your share of the rent paid, if you can't find a job?

Unemployment benefits are minuscule compared to rent prices, and expenses in Sydney. Temporary accommodation is hard to come by since there aren't many places with vacancies. We have rent assistance but it doesn't cover the whole rent, only a third and by all of that I'm still hanging on by a thread.

Thanks Blar that's nice of you.

This morning, I was in the drive through lane at McD's and when I pulled up to pay the employee said that the lady in front of me payed my bill. I was stunned. Good thing I didn't order for the whole office.

So Plankton gets his breakfast paid for by some lady, and now you want him to pay it forward by purchasing your next car?
