I found out that someone died in the room I'll be moving into. It's not really a problem with me, and to be honest I'm a little disappointed that the chalk outline still isn't on the floor, I mean the room is covered in graffiti and it looks like it's been a squat at some point so what the fuck?

Back in my twenties I was living in a block of flats. One morning as I was going out the stairwell smelled like the dumpster behind a fish market and when I got out front I saw a white van with white painted windows. I found out later the guy upstairs from me had died and had been there for some time. Thing is I couldn't even tell you what they looked like because I rarely saw any of my neighbours but having smelt his rotting flesh it felt like we were weirdly connected. Anyway that's one of the reasons I'm vegetarian LOL.

That reminds me of a funny story from two years ago when I did a ride along with the police and we got a welfare check call on an old guy who hadn't been heard from for a few days and now a strange smell was emanating from the apartment. Sadly he had a cat so he didn't have much of a face left. Not really sure why that's funny, must have been one of those "you had to be there" moments.

Spent at home, it was boring. In fact, I don't even remember what I did.
