If you don't care about whether people are actually reading your posts, then why are you posting them?

It is 100 degrees Fahrenheit right now in Louisville. I have a growing pile of Popsicle sticks next to me as I sit inside and try to stay cool.

Ate barbeque at a cookout, played some music, then tried to teach an old friend of mine how to play drums. She was way better than when I started out, because she plays piano so has actual rhythm. She could even do more complicated beats.

Now I'm trying to figure out how I want to write my next journal entry, and what song to use. Day is good so far.

So today I acquired an amazing bike that was my dad's, but he doesn't want it anymore. It's a Miele racing bike that he bought in the mid-80's and hardly ever used. Made in Italy and SUPER fast. This bike is probably up to Tour de France standards. However, I know nothing about bikes or cycling so I have no idea what the exact model is or how much this bike is even worth, if anything at all...

107 Degrees F again today in Nashville, so most of the day was spent being sedentary. Took a foreign language placement exam today for UTK. Three years of Spanish in high school and I still couldn't test out of Spanish 101, so I elected to abandon the damned language and am now in Japanese 101.
And I came on here to check on things and posted this on impulse.

Miele used to sponser the Giro d'Italia the second biggest tour and I know they had some great bikes. Racing bikes like this are a real speciality and an acquired taste. It may be worth something or nothing at all. Most people who have these bikes either use them or end up using them as a fancy ornament at home. The bike maybe fast, but then you need the strength and fitness to exploit that.
