Now surely this must be American, as I don't understand any of this either

The Flaming Lips' cover of Dark Side of the Moon is a great start to the day

They're going to be performing it at a music festival I'm going to this summer. Kinda excited to see it.

Had a moderate concussion on 4/20. I was completely sober. I did, however, fall off of a trampoline, bashing the back of my head first on the metal part of the trampoline, then the ground.

Back of my head still hurts. I was probably most concerned when I said I was fine, then tried to text and kept dropping my phone. My mom's a nurse, so I then decided to try to call her and ask what I should do, but couldn't remember her number.

My friend took me to my mom's, and she acknowledged that both of my pupils were very different sizes. Had to go get a CT scan to make sure that nothing completely awful had happened. There wasn't any bleeding, so that was cool.

I'm finally in the clear, presumably. Have to go check up sometime later this week, just to be sure, but I'm no longer paranoid that my brain is going to start bleeding and I'm going to die.

Heart attack moment of the day: Retreiving my towel off the shower curtain rod after my shower and coming face to face with the biggest, most freakishly mutated wood roach I've ever seen in my life...sitting right on my hand. I don't know how I kept from screaming but I did manage to do some sort of wild, flailing jig that sent my towel and the roach flying across the room while I hyperventilated in the bath tub. *shudder*
