Went to sleep at 7am after staying up all night and just woke up, at 7pm. My sleep schedule is whack.

I used to go to sleep between 6 and 8 am every day. Used to get off work at 6am, which is when they could start selling booze again, grab a 40 of Mickeys, go home, pound it while listening to tunes and crash out. But I used to wake up at like 3. I can't sleep for 12 hours, that's nutty.

My sleep schedule is a result of getting completely wasted a few days ago and going to sleep at 6am and waking up in the afternoon. I tried to stay up all night last night and stay up today to get back on schedule, but I fell asleep in the morning, so that was a failed attempt. I could sedate myself to go to sleep tonight but why waste the night.

Today I learned we have a lot in common.

Listening to Queen's Live at Wembley live album from '86, which never fails to make me cry. One of the most intense concert experiences I've ever had was ninth row in Cleveland, OH, seeing Queen + Paul Rodgers. They did "Bohemian Rhapsody," and projected Freddie from the Wembley show to the back of the stage, playing his live vocal and piano track while Brian, Roger, and their bassist who wasn't John Deacon played their parts. It seriously made every single person in the sold out venue weep openly.

Aside from that, just watching basketball and chatting with my sister and her husband (it still feels weird to call him my brother-in-law) and all of that.

And playing guitar.

And working on my next article for the site I write for.

I could've hung out with friends today, but I needed alone time desperately. I think I'm manic and don't want to be weird and crazy around my friends. My family expect no less.

Kind of a boring day. I went out on a limb and got a new DSLR which was pretty insane on my part. I was really not planning on getting one, but my mom was actually more insistent about it than I was. So I decided to get it. Now I'm selling everything I can to make as much money back as I can. I figure if I sell 5ml shares of all of my fragrances, I could make a fair amount back. Especially on the ones that are rare. If I sell 5ml shares of By Man for $20, and sell 10 of them, I could make $200. I'm also selling lots of college books and a Zero shirt, which I never even opened. I liked the design so much I got two. Now I'm looking at everything like dollar signs. Nothing is sacred right now.

My life is riddled with frequent attempts to sort out my sleeping pattern - and I always end up receding back into this shitty routine of going to sleep at 5am and waking up at 2pm. I feel much happier when I'm living sociable hours, so it's really frustrating, but unfortunately the nature of my work doesn't give me much in the way of structure.
