Do you work at a cinema? That would remain your constant posting in the Latest Film That You've Seen Thread.

I watched a lot of basketball today. After Missouri lost, even though I only had them in my Sweet 16, I decided, "Brackets be damned!"

I spent the rest of the day watching basketball and cheering like a lunatic every time an underdog won.

For those of you who watched any college basketball today, you'll know that this entailed a lot of cheering like a lunatic. Especially when Duke lost. Maybe they'll stop showing the Laettner shot every five minutes now...although I doubt it.

Also started working on a full length recording which will consist of a lot of new material, a few reworked songs which I recorded for earlier EPs, and a couple of covers for "bonus tracks". I've got a good seven new songs written, but they're all pretty depressing. I'm probably going to spend the parts of tomorrow that I'm not drunk trying to write a few happier things.

Sure do. I run a three screen Second Run/Art House theater in New Jersey. I manage and am the projectionist there. The reason I post in the film thread is because I have an obsession with movies. I watch a lot.

Damn, that job sounds like a dream. I hold a similar infatuation but prior obligation hinders my constant viewing of films.

I luck out because since I only have a three screen theater, I get LONG breaks in between movie sets. So I just put my laptop on the desk and watch movies while I do paperwork. I usually get 2-3 films in during a 10 hour shift. I'm a lucky guy.

I was visiting my parents today, and was wearing a Florida Gators shirt that was way too big on me, but I mean, I wasn't going over there to impress anyone.

Anyway, I was griping because my smallest pair of pants was too big, and even my belt was too big, so my pants felt like they were in a perpetual state of falling down. I mentioned this, and apparently my dad misheard me, because he was like, "Well, if you didn't drink all of that soda, your pants would probably fit."

Ouch.

I informed him that I've lost close to 20 lbs this year so far and work out everyday, but it was still a major ouch. I mean, I'm almost in the exact middle of normal range in the BMI, and still on pace to lose around 10 more lbs in the next few months.

So today I found out my car is unrepairable. I cried. I fucking love that car, had so many good memories in her too. Plus I have no money for a new one so I'm pretty much screwed until I get a job, which will be never by the looks of this ****ing economy. So I'm fucked .

Non repairable? Did you get in a wreck and the car is totaled? The economy seems to be improving, so try to stay positive.

Basically my cars proper old (12yr old fiesta), my brakes failed on the motorway on Sunday and my mate thought it could be a burst brake pipe. Turns out it's not and it's going to be expensive for me to repair, so it's not worth it. It's totally ****ed. If I had to write a list of things needing renewed on my car I'd be here a good while.
