Watched the Superbowl with my mother and sister - who have to be the least knowledgeable people about football ever.

Last time I watched football with my mother was the Patriots / Broncos playoff game. To illustrate my point about her knowing less about football than your average non-football fan:

*I return to the room from the restroom*
MOM: You missed it! Tebow just rushed for 8...uh...somethings.
*Long pause*
ME: Do you mean, yards?
MOM: Oh! Yeah! I meant yards!

There is not enough time to teach her football things, so I hoped that nothing too confusing would happen in the Superbowl to cause her to ask ridiculous questions of me. Of course there had to be a goddamn safety in the first half.

She still has no idea what that means, and kept asking if EVERYTHING that involved the end zone in any way, shape, or form was a safety.

My little sister just kept telling me that unlike her classmates, she didn't think Tom Brady was that hot. And that Wes Welker looks like a pedophile. So she was for the Giants on the basis that Brady isn't hot enough and Welker has a molestache.

Haha, that sounds like me! Except I usually just ignore the game instead of asking questions about it.

My Dad told me something pretty cool to help with my anxiety. Think of life and all the stuff people do like a computer program. They just do what they've got to do, like media player plays music etc and turns off when it's done. You don't see them anymore.

Basically the matrix, but he could have written the matrix if you ask me

Tis a pity that human beings aren't computers.

Pity that we don't remember as well as they do.
