Human Traffic on tele, YA ****IN BEAUTY.

edit: "The weekend has landed. All that exists now is clubs, drugs, pubs and parties. I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. I'm gonna blow steam out my head like a screaming kettle, I'm gonna talk cod **** to strangers all night, I'm gonna lose the plot on the dancefloor. The free radicals inside me are freakin', man! Tonight I'm Jip Travolta, I'm Peter Popper, I'm going to never-never land with my chosen family, man. We're gonna get more spaced out than Neil Armstrong ever did, anything could happen tonight, you know? This could be the best night of my life. I've got 73 quid in my back burner - I'm gonna wax the lot, man! The Milky Bars are on me! Yeah!""

I need more nights like this.

This evening, I dug up a book of poems and short stories I wrote between 1996 and 1998 (ages 16 to 18). Alot of them were just painful to read, but I was surprised at the wording in a few of them. Some are extremely angsty, but some are surprisingly passionate and daring for a 16 year old who grew up in a deeply religious household.

It's interesting to be able to look back at your teenage self. I hope all y'all who are going through that time of your life now will be able to do the same. It's a bit embarrassing, but enlightening.

I gave my notice at work tonight, two more weeks in my current dead end then I NEED to get off nights and find a new job because my flatmate moved out two weeks ago and my cost of living doubles starting next month. My current employer couldn't accommodate those changes and I could have stuck around longer but I'm also incapable of breaking out of my vampire schedule and getting a new job when you sleep from 9-5 is pretty much impossible.

Fun.

I laid in bed most of the day, it's now 5:30 in the morning and I'm listening to twee pop and shoegaze.

What's wrong with me?

Good luck on finding a new job.
It's good seeing you around here as well. :)

It was my first A level exam of ever today. I think I did well, although I've got another one to mess up on tomorrow.
