Just got back from celebrating new years. Why do people who book priority boarding tickets queue up? you're going to be one of the first 10-15 on the plane regardless, why not sit down? I bet it's just so they can look smug.

Working in the library at the museum .. Everyone but me has gone home, so now I'm blasting Return to Forever and enjoying the acoustics. Nice way to end a working day!

Don't lie about working at the Pinocchio Village Haus, cause, we'll all know if you're are.

I have to keep checking that today isn't Friday the 13th (that's next week) as it sure as hell feels like it.
Work didn't pay me even though they promised too so I can't do the food shopping this weekend or pay my rent. I am back at work next week after 3 weeks off dealing with bereavement and they promised I would get relatively 'normal' hours for at least a month so I can be here for the kids and I find that I am working all day both Saturday and Sunday. That means that the eldest can't go out at all as he needs to be at home to look after the 13 year old as he can't be left alone. My gas boiler has completely broke down so we have no hot water for at least 3 days. Happy days. Talk about kicking a man when he is down.
