Since you're his friend and mentor maybe you should explain to him the meaning of 'attention whore' (and possibly something about sexism) and if I may, I suggest that you not judge the drinking habits of others. If you know anything at all about alcohol use then you know that what she posted is nothing at all to be worried about.
