Watched a ridiculous amount of Bravestarr episodes with my buddies, while indulging in a ridiculous amount of smoke. We realized none of us had seen Hugo yet, and set about to rectifying this terrible fact.
We made our way to the theatre just in time, put on our 3D shades, and were ready to rock and roll. They showed a trailer for Titanic in 3D and I cried. I was berated for having a vagina. The movie itself was wondrous, the kind of thing which aspiring filmmakers or lovers of film would delight over. The 3D was easily the best I've seen in a film, actually being utilized in a creative and artistic way rather than, "LOLZ let's make shiz fly at teh audience lmfao". Then, we watched more Bravestarr. And finished storyboarding a sketch. And celebrated my buddy's birthday. Good days are rare lately, and this was a good one. I'm thrilled.

Well... yes. Islands depend on the high specific heat capacity of water to maintain their more temperate climates. That is to say, that the water is cool in the summer and (relatively) warm in the winter. Polar icecaps melt - increase of cold, cold water in the seas surrounding islands. Even without other interferences, like a cold flow from the north diverting the Gulf Stream (which would royally **** over the British Isles), there is still a notable effect on overall temperature.
