Today marked the third time I've been into town in the past week, which is amusing as I kind of hate the place. It was with my old friends, but they were far less dickhead-ish than last Saturday and I had an okay time. I even got a £5 voucher, and all I had to do was piss in a cup for a chlamydia screening. Oh, and I finally got around to donating my body to medicine when I die.

Yes!

I finally got some ACTUAL studio experience under my belt today...nothing amazing but it was relieving to see how drum tracks get properly recorded. It builds so much respect in my mind for how music is professionally recorded over the lo-fi shit I had been doing for years.

Incidentally Logic Pro has to be the most intuitive music production program I've ever used. Shame I need about $4000 worth of computer to get it to run properly...

Good to hear that things went better this time. I remember you had some problems with your friends earlier this week.

Went on campus to help a buddy of mine out with an audio engineering project he was working on.

Helped bring another buddy's kit in, set it up, watched my friend mic everything with the appropriate hardware, was in the studio listening as my other friend laid down a few drum tracks (he's got some fucking chops, that guy).

It was just really refreshing to see "hey, there's a REASON why this stuff is so damn expensive to produce"...everything ranging from the heads to the mics to the aural feedback was so scrupulously controlled. It made for a very nice break from the stuff I'm used to

Well, that's what you have to look forward to, hopefully.

Could a mod answer me this? Why the **** are my posts getting knocked back in the spill your guts thread? Aye fair enough it wasn't on topic, but am gonnae be frank here. Why is Vanilla posting irrelvent stuff that I can't. Oh wait. She's a mod. That must be it. One rule for members and another for mods. You're really starting to piss me right the **** off. Seriously.

Vanilla, you know I love you. Its nothing personal .

I have no idea. I don't see any deleted posts by you or anything in that thread. Maybe it's a server hiccup or something?

I definitely posted. I said that silly thing at the bottom of the thread. I'm not exactly trying to increase my wanger size I.E. Post count. I'm hardly that pathetic. Its happened on a few occasions. Fair enough if theirs no chat in the thread but don't let the ****ing mods do it if nobody else is allowed to.
