Man, my view of the Cincinnati skyline is really nice. On the 11th floor, with a lovely view of the suspension bridge and Great American Ball Park.

I can't find my bridesmaid dress, though, so I probably need to go do that.

You'll be glad when this wedding's over, from all the difficulties you're having!

I had a really nice day. I kind of celebrated my 22nd birthday with my friends. My birthday isn't until next week (27th of November) but since I live in a different city we decided to celebrate it now. We didn't do anything special we just watched a movie and went to see a gig. Tomorrow I'm going back to Turku where I live. It's really nice since I get to see my girlfriend and we haven't seen eachother for two weeks now. The time apart felt really long since we spend pretty much every hour of the day together sice we are in the same school and live together.

No, it was me realizing that I could have taken things much further than the hip squeeze, but my reticence to act on those feelings allowed another guy to swoop in for the kill. I foresaw this relationship imploding months ago.

I just need to be more demonstrative about my feelings towards the taken ones. Ladies, let's face it, but the queue for your next boyfriend starts long before your current relationship ends.

On the other hand, if you are too outward and impulsive, people will probably steer clear of you. It's going to be a tricky balance, isn't it?

I spent the weekend at a place called Ffestiniog Railway, where I had volunteered to help with the maintenance by doing various manly building activities that I obviously didn't enjoy, with the exception of pneumatic drilling which I enjoyed due to the chaotic appeal of it. The evenings were fun though. I was kicking some serious behind in Mario Kart Wii. Proof that you can't beat someone with a nunchuck and manual.

I do a similar thing in Wyevale steam railway, which obviously is a lot smaller than Ffestiniog in Wales. It does feel both fun and embarassing when you actually drive a steam train past your mates.
By the way, I believe they are using oil fired engines rather than anthracite in Ffestiniog, because they are worried about setting the woods on fire.

They're using diesel engines, and that's all I know. Trains are quite amazing, but I'm no expert on them. I went there more for the satisfying feeling you get at the end and weekend entertainment than for a genuine love of trains. Plus all the friends that went with me are just as geeky or strange as I am, so I'd have no shame in parading past them in an old engine.

True. Don't want to overcompensate for it and start being "that guy." I imagine desperation looks just as ugly on men as it does on women.
