Great to be around here again :) Nope, I never went to London... :( My school gave me an ongoing position in Melbourne so I decided to be boring and stay, and save money. Everyone's telling me that the UK and US economies are going down the pooper so I also got a little bit afraid about my job security over there!

Sometimes it's best to not know what you did last night...

I went. They're still there. The occupation is going on. I may stock up on food and water and camp out some more.

I wish I could do that but I've got school.

My issue is that I'm in two shows right now, so I can't really stay overnight and camp out for an entire day or more like I'd like to. I'm not for roughly 99% of their demands and find them to be unrealistic and kind of odd (99%, huh, ironic!) but there is a good point and a good cause, ultimately.

I'm actually working on an Occupy event in my actual city, not twenty minutes away as this one is. We're working on making a stronger, more realistic list of demands and educating potential participants on a specific code of conduct for parts of the event...e.g. don't bring drugs because that looks awful, dress somewhat respectably...that sort of thing.

Bah. Chicken!

I took and made an order for two customers at the bakery today, I was so nervous I kept repeating what was already said and I felt like my ears were covered with foam. I'm pretty sure my co-workers think I'm an incompetent idiot. Hell, I feel like one.

I used to work at a bakery and I know exactly how you feel... it's okay, it'll become second nature with time! :) The nerves will go away!

It's been a month constant I've been baked. I'm starting to feel more and more stupid when I wake up in the morning. I'm going to lay off it until payday. I don't even know half of what I'm talking about anymore. So staying off it for a few days will do some good hopefully.

Dude, I know what that's like. I was baked every single day for a really long time, and I lost my ability to communicate without sounding like a hippie for a good long while. It was all, "Whooooa, breh...mannnn," as my default response for damn near everything.

I've kind of been smoking every other day if not more infrequently now...but I've also been smoking exclusively headies.


Today, my director was taken aback by the fact that some group was a Christian group because she "saw a lot of...homosexuals." I was appalled, but ultimately let it slide. She's from way South. Kentucky is too liberal for her. :laughing:
