I went to a Physics lecture at a uni this evening. Unfortunately, as I was getting ready I discovered that I'd lost my train pass (and without luck tomorrow I might have lost it for good) pissing my mom off and getting me really pissed off with myself, which almost prevented me from going with sheer self-hate. Fortunately I let my mom drag me down to the station, and it ended up being really good. Some of the people there from my new school were probably my favourite teacher, someone who's possibly my best friend at the moment, a boy that can make me laugh just by opening his mouth, a couple of pretty cool upper 6's, and a girl that I really fancy.

For my birthday, as a joke gift, I got a "Voodoo Doll". I opened the package, and all of the pins fell out, so I just stuffed them indiscriminately into the doll, and put it on my night stand.

Today, I knocked a bunch of crap off of my night stand, and had forgotten all about the voodoo doll...until I stepped on it (it was face down) and two of the pins became DEEPLY embedded in my heel.

I seriously can't put any weight on the back of my foot, because those pins went down into the muscle and whatever else is on that part of feet...and my God, it really hurts.

I know who the girl is.

My day was average. Realised how little chance I have of getting a permanent position at the company I'm temporarily working for so going to have to go crazy in finding more jobs to apply for. I applied for a great statistics and GIS position tonight so fingers crossed I have enough experience for them!
