Just had one of the greatest weekends in recent memory. Three friends of mine and I did a 24-hour scavenger hunt competition for the Reno Roller Derby team. 201 various items needed to be photographed or filmed and then put on a USB drive and then viewed by Roller Derby team and the other teams. For each item you film you get points and the team with the most points wins. We ended up in 3rd place with 3,350, just 100 shy of second place. Some of these items included downing a shot of the hottest hot sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings, duct taping someone to a pole, buying used underwear from a thrift store, etc. I'll post some of the less embarrassing pictures.

Well, I just finished filing a police report for my missing wallet.
Thursday morning, I lost it somewhere between the liquor store and my friend's house. We've spent the past few days searching his car, my friend's car, his room, his yard, etc., and I called the liquor store to see if I'd left it there. (Wishful thinking.) The only other time I got out of the car was to drunkenly scream at a train on the way back home, right beside the prison, so I was hoping that it had turned up there. State Police had no idea. Boyd County police will be calling me back shortly for a follow-up, and to see if it's been turned in. They also volunteered to check with the railroad authority to see if they'd found it. I don't care at all about the money that was in the wallet. I just want my ID, ticket stubs from concerts and plays, and the dogtag my Dad had made for me when he was in basic training that says, "I love you Sara! From Daddy." That's the thing I want back the most. And when I think about the fact that I stupidly lost that, it just keeps making me cry over and over again.

I spent the better part of the day helping my sister and her husband move into their new apartment. She is pregnant and on bed-rest, so it was just the 2 of us. He barely speaks English, so I had to put my 4 years of highschool Spanish to the test. I got $10 and a free lunch out of the deal, but I doubt I will be able to move my arms or legs come tomorrow lol.
I have to go to divorce court first thing tomorrow morning. I'm definitely stressing and not looking forward to it. I'm thinking about asking for a continuence, but I don't really see the point. If I do get one granted, I still won't be able to afford a lawyer and nothing will change between me and the wife. Wish me luck guys. |
