i got a good Chinese joke
a Malaysian Chinese old couple wanted to put an ad in a mainland Chinese newspaper for marriage for their son, Ta Niu to balance it out, they thought about putting in a flaw of their son, so they put:- "Ta Niu Bi Jiao Lan" (Ta Niu is a bit lazy) of course being Malaysian Chinese, they read from left to right, so the order is left to right the next day, there was a long line in front of the house, of women the couple asked "why is there such an overwhelming response?" one of the girls said "your ad said "lan jiao bi niu ta"" (dick is bigger than a bull's) China Chinese read from right to left |

very old joke then
back on-topic - pretty boring day for me revisiting Johnny Cash's American Recordings IV and V cos just got I to III and resparked my interest a bit too "Americana" for me, really, and the latter half of V really drags on and on - can't he inject some levity during his death throes, like a cover of "If There's a Hell Below (We all Gonna Go)" or something - why must death be so solemn and sombre? |
