Woke up because a tornado siren was sounding in the distance. I figure it to have been Ironton, Ohio's. Went outside, and was greeted by lightning. Considered staying outside anyway, because there was the biggest goddamn funnel cloud I've ever seen in my life, and it was rotating fairly quickly in comparison to funnel clouds I've seen before.

Then I got hailed on. So I pretty much had to go back inside. Now we're in the eye of the storm, and I've no idea what became of that gigantic funnel cloud.

It's been raining like crazy here as well. No funnel clouds, though.

I did almost manage to blow off my hand with some butylithium. Apparently that stuff reacts violently with water, and the syringe I was using still had some in it. Oops.

Unfortunately, once the damage has been done, no amount of sucking is going to elevate that kind of status.
I have a piece of wood that I put under either of my laptops when they're not on a table. Works perfectly. I don't need cooling pads.

Even though I'm technically on my Easter holidays at the moment I went into the college library to study for a few hours, in preparation for my final exams next month *gulp*

It was 20 degrees C here today and I just wanted to sit outside in the sun, chill and smoke cigarettes. It's incredibly difficult to study when the weather is gorgeous.

Spent a few hours this evening working on my thesis which is thankfully nearing completion, should have it finished by the end of next week.

Tomorrow I plan more of the same. Huzzah.
