Slept - day after my show closed, and I've got the little post show depression I get when shows end. Not crazy depressed, just kind of bummed and really miss the show. I'll be completely back to normal at least by auditions for the next show.
Just playing sad songs on an acoustic guitar, and writing a lot - working on a few new short plays, and fixing up my full length that's already kind of finished.

So my life just got freaking crazy. Can't say I didn't ask for it.
Work is crazy. My project is rolling and pumping out lots of data. I'm doing all these new crazy experiments. It's cool that I'm making progress, but it is really stressful because my boss has been on my ass for the past month. I'm used to not really seeing him much and being able to just do my own thing. I really can't wait until things cool off just a little. I just started dating this really cool girl. She's also a scientist, but she's laid back and likes to have fun too. Plus she is exactly my type. This has ended up being one of those relationships where I've just kind of jumped straight into it. I sleep with her all the time and we always want to hang out. Half of me is extremely happy to finally have someone again because, to be honest, I've been pretty lonely. The other half is freaking the **** out because I didn't expect to find someone I could get so serious with so fast...especially after how things worked out with my last serious girlfriend. So basically I don't know what to think. So...I stuck this here because I'm not really bitching about it but I'm not really rejoicing about it, either. I need a freaking vacation.

I'm beginning to think I might have a chance with cute lassie in the coffe shop. Today after going in there dozens of times after she'd took my order she said 'Thanks. You can pick it up down there in a minute." I said "Yeah. I know" and smiled a bit and she smiled a lot! I'm going to read something into that!
btw. I know she knows I fancy 'cause I keep looking at her and women just know when guys are doing that don't they? I got the impression she didn't like it but if she didn't she wouldn't have smiled today over a totally meanigless bit of banter!

Been texting the girl I'm into, and she's adding smiley faces at the end of every single sentence. I've texted her a lot before, but the smiley faces in the texts are a new thing. So basically, I've been smiling every time I see one of the smiley faces.
Makes the post show blues a little better. Goodness, she's adorable.

I was in London yesterday. At about eight in the evening I decided to head to a friends to stay the night as my flight home was easier to get to from where she lived. I was walking from Vauxhall rail station to the tube across the road when two lads about twenty years of age walked toward me. I dont know if he accidentally bumped it into me or if it was deliberate but when I turned around to apologise he hit me in the stomach I doubled over and straightened up to fight back but his mate had a knife in my face. They took my wallet, took the cash out threw the wallet on the ground and ran off!

They pretty much just suck air from the bottom of the air outlets of your laptop and funnel them out. They're designed for retards who place their laptops right on the bedding in their bed, completely restricting the flow of air to the sensitive components of their costly piece of technology...
Unfortunately, once the damage has been done, no amount of sucking is going to elevate that kind of status. |
