As do I. I don't know him all too well, but I am a longtime friend of his daughter. I shudder to think how she would take it if he passes away.

Trying to motivate myself to send write-ups and information about theatre goings-on in the area to local media. I need to get one of the write-ups in by noon today (less than three hours) and give a bunch of contact information to three different newspapers in the tri-state so they can finish their articles.

Why I always end up having to be the person who talks to the press is beyond me...especially after the debacle involving "The Laramie Project" a few years ago, in which I was horribly misquoted.

So, that will be a good deal of my day. I've got my first dress rehearsal today at 2, and in the mean time, I'm watching my sister to make sure she doesn't get into any foolishness. She's going to make me play SpongeBob stuff on Wii when she wakes up, so I really need to stop procrastinating and get this theatre stuff sent out.

it might help to log off of musicbanter and do that lol. Instead of trying to multi-task and keeping MB up while trying to do the press stuff. Just concentrate on the press stuff.

Yeah, I'm finished now. I just minimized the internet altogether and wrote it in a Word document. I think I'll have a follow-up email in the next few hours that I'll have to respond to as well. God willing, it will just be to ask a question I can respond to on my BlackBerry, and not for something in depth.

***

Also, I totally forgot that today was supposed to be the day I go to hang out with friends and watch awful movies - this evening is a re-showing of "The Room", and a first-time showing of "Bird-Demic".

Being the total forgetful person that I am, I told them I'd be there, and don't think I can go now. My best friend's coming into town today from Berea, and I'm supposed to spend time with him. He doesn't chill with the group I watch movies with, so it'd just be awkward if I tried to make him go to that.

So, today:
Theatre press stuff: Check
Babysitting: Currently
Shower / Going over lines: Pending
Rehearsal: Pending (2:00)
Movie party: Supposed to be at 6:00
Meet up with Rett: Pending
Talk to girl I'm into: Pending
Buying alcohol: Sometime in between rehearsal and chilling with Rett.
Sleep: Not anytime soon, unfortunately.

Well last night I pregamed with my flamboyantly gay room mate and his girlfriends before hitting the bar. Very proud of myself for not murdering anyone and making it through a game of kings. Didn't stay long as my brain surely would have exploded.

Went to the bar. Pure sausage. The worst I have seen the guy-girl ratio at that bar this entire year. It was crap weather, maybe the girls stayed at home cause of the rain. But I drank my many beers, smoked my cigs, and of course afterwards ate my pizza.

I was supposed to play an intramural tennis match today but the guy didn't show. I nearly forgot about it too. I am easily gonna win the intramural tennis league, and barring a miracle go undefeated. I'll get a shirt too, that rules. But for now and the next few hours I'm gonna sit here with a dip in, watch some sports stuff, take some beer shits and relax to the maximum. Maybe write some lyrics if I feel the vibe.
