pork luncheon meat, omelette, lady's fingers, eggplant - it was more to do with the amount of rice, I don't eat that much usually, but with my entire jaw functioning, it was "gobble, gobble, gobble" like a turkey

Damn it, I'm so happy I could cry. I've recently been at the hospital and it was looking increasingly likely that I would need lots of tests and treatment. Again.

Well, good news! I went today to hear the results of some critical tests that I had done a couple of weeks ago and I'm completely clear! I don't need any more tests or treatment.

I'm going to dance....*dance*

Congrats GeddyBass, always nice to hear good medical news. I hate going to the hospital. Years ago I was in a bad car accident and my brother was "life-flighted" and had to go emergency surgery and was in a coma for awhile. So my time spent in the hospital after the car accident just makes me never want to go back into a hospital again. It's too depressing.

Well I had 4 classes today. Finally getting the hang of the Spanish language. Met with my academic advisor and she gave me the number to a lady who runs a local Juvenile Detention center. So I'm going to apply for an internship for next year. I am really hoping to get this, it would look great on a resume and maybe could lead to a job there down the road.

Wow, that's awful.

In my case, I've probably has some various 30 hospital visits in 4 or so years for a condition I have. It got to the point where I was horrifically depressed, crashed my second year of uni and generally felt like crap. It's good to hear some good news from a hospital for once.

Spanish, a veyr useful language. I've done a little Spanish myself, it's really quite fun once you get past the basics...

Good luck with the internship too!

Think I missed something here. What did you go to the hospital for? WHat was wrong?

Well a couple of years ago (when I was way at university) I was diagnosed with something known as polycystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS. I spent almost 2 years in and out of hospital having various tests done before I was diagnosed, as well as review appointments.

Now I've moved back home and initially, my referral to hospital was only meant to be a review to see how my ovaries looked after two years of Glucophage treatment and also controlled diet. Didn't quite go to plan as the doctors here queried the original diagnosis and I've spent the last two weeks or so having more blood tests, an ultrasound and other tests. Today was the day I found out the results of all these tests and I came back clear.
