Ghehe, I never said I wasn't .
Eccentric sounds like the right word. I don't mind being eccentric.

Today I went to a linguistic typology lecture. The lecturer was just plain weird and I couldn't really grasp what he was talking about since his train of thought seemed to me like a big train wreck. I quess I'm not going there again. I'm thinking about just reading the books before the exam. I hope that is enough to pass.

Today I wrote part one of two English departmental exams, and it looks like I'm going to university after all I was so stressed, but I'm happy it's over and done with.
The girl I am currently into surprised me this morning with the sweetest message, and I've been beaming all day due to her. I'm excited to see her once I have time to actually get to know her fo' realz. Overall it's been a very splendid Monday. Oh and it's been 9 days since I quit smoking cigarettes. It's been a really long time since I felt this great, in almost all regards. Last edited by bonesaw-orchestra; 01-24-2011 at 05:44 PM. |

Today I realized that general studies in college are childish.
Maybe it's just the fact that I didn't just get out of highschool or something, but I really don't see the need to write a paper about yourself and have to read it in front of the class. Teach us what the fuck we need to know, and let us get on with our lives. I may be giving people too much credit, but I'm pretty sure that we don't need to be taught how to break ice with other fellow human beings. We have our own ways of doing it, and forcing us to be uncomfortable in front of complete strangers is probably not a good strategy. Teach me English I already know, and Psychology I don't give a fuck about. That's your job, school system. Your definition of "Making it fun" is wildly out of touch with reality. |
