Hmmm... Electricity fail today
Lasted for 2,5 hours and it was pretty cosy . I actually made a video with my phone and uploaded it from my phone, so had to keep the quality low: The little green lights you see are the eyes of my cat. I actually talk to him for a bit, so that's why my voice goes all high pitched all of a sudden .

Last night was seriously great. Met up with 3 of my best friends, one being a girl I kind of have a thing with, hung out at Cafe Nero and then went back to my friend Rob's flat and had a few drinks, then me and Natalie (*the* girl) got on a coach to Manchester cos we went to see Sonic Youth absolutely amazing gig, setlist wasn't fantastic by any means but we got Catholic Block, 'Cross The Breeze, Tom Violence, The Sprawl and Death Valley '69 and they played like saints. Amazing. Also, I happened to bump into Mojo off here, can't remember what I said or anything except for asking "why are you so scottish?" so much and giving him an awkward hug. Hate my life.
Today I feel slightly worse for wear and am in work, and as expected the day is dragging a lot more than usual. After I've finished work I'm using one of the work showers and my step-dad is picking me up and taking me to the train station, where I'll be getting on a train to London to see Sonic Youth again, this time with Shellac, which is how I'll be seeing in my New Year. I'm nervous since I'm going alone, yet massively excited. |

Sounds like a great day, downwardspiral! and awesome way to ring in the New Year!
Tonight, I'm going camping with my friends where there is no cell service or anything of the sort, and we're ringing in the New Year that way. It's definitely a blessing that it's 60 degrees today (out of nowhere!) And we're super pumped. The camping trip will probably entail getting super trashed and playing music around a fire. Not a bad way to bring in the new year, I think!

My day was spent eating Mexican food and watching movies. Also perfect!

Had a great time last night, a bunch of us gathered over at my friend's house for new years and also to celebrate his 21st. We had plenty of beer, a bottle of champagne, weed and a birthday cake of course. Later on in the night we were sitting around listening to Fever Ray and The Chemical Brothers while baked, they sounded so good. Then we all had a case of the munchies and decided to go get food and stuff.
I slept in today until around 1 o'clock and just took it easy for the rest of the day, i wasn't really that hungover but i was still a bit sleepy. Happy new year everyone on MB by the way
