oh my heavens!
*total geek moment*
that mustve been super tough to deal with
an old friend of mine committed suicide a year & a half ago & that was hard as it is
its just so much harder to deal with when its teachers for some reason
like, even if you dont particularly like them you still have an amount of respect for them so it makes it really hard to believe that they died
thats the way i see it anyway

Levithan 04-18-2006 08:38 AM

Yeah I know what you mean. This was completly out of the blue, he was the most up-beat guy ive ever met, then one day he decides to end it all...It was pretty hard to deal with, seen as I hadnt seen him in years, and I went back to that school to say hi, and they said he didnt work for them anymore and didn't say why.

yep, thats exactly how it was with my friend
they said he died but didnt say how
im actually surprised now that im back at school that they arent really making a big deal about my teacher
they even removed his picture from the teacher directory which seems logical enough but they should do something for him
like a memorial service or something
a lot of people liked him

Levithan 04-18-2006 10:16 AM

Yeah? Thats a little harsh, you can understand why they took the picture down, but you expect some mourning time

holdyoualways 04-18-2006 10:23 AM

well...yeah
i mean, i didnt expect them to take it down 5 freaking days after he died but it had to be done eventually
i agree, that was a little rude & disrespectfull on their part
i just think theyre not really taking this seriously enough
i only had him for one class
imagine how the younger kids are reacting, they have him for a regular teacher
so like i said it was rude & disrespectfull to take down his picture & not really have any kind of mourning period for him, thats all
sorry if it came out the wrong way

well, i'll tell you about my past week. i went home for the holidays, i chilled, cought up on "family guy" ( christ that show is hilarious ) and other tv delights via portugese satellite programs that i esentially steal ( i upload codes that unlock them ). went shopping last saturday, just me and me youngest sis, very chilled out day ( unlike our usual shopping tripps to Italy with our older sister ), found a shitload of amazing clothes ( that i was tempted to take pictures of and brag to you about....because i'm a shallow fashinista ), went out at night to socialize with people ( that's right, you heard me, actual people )....had quite a few laughs whilst engaging in coversations with local morons after a pint or two ( gotta love small villages and local inebriated idiots ). i drove the car a bit , me and me sis went arround the island, she was quite nervous...doesn't trust my driving skills....( aswell she shouldn't ..;) )....all in all...very relaxing, very nice....but i'm glad i'm back in my smog infested city....
