Women...I've got a question for you. I ventured to the mall on Black Friday (ek!). That's the day after Thanksgiving day for all you non-Americans. It's the biggest shopping day of the year...people throwing down over parking spots and elbowing people in the face for the last Tickle me Elmo. Anyway, I'm walking thru the mall, and in front of every store is a group of men, looking miserable, tired, and holding shopping bags. So my question is...why do you women drag your men to the mall with you? Its obvious they don't want to be there. Obvious that they would rather be sitting at home in their underwear watching football. And the fact that they are miserable can't possibly make the shopping experience anymore enjoyable for you. I tried it once...years ago. It only took one time for me to realize it's just not worth it. The moaning, the grunting when you ask them a question, the pitiful look of defeat when you walk into another store. It's torturous for all involved. Just leave your men be ladies!!

And men...seriously, is it really not possible to watch TV if you can't find the remote? See those pretty buttons on the television set? They turn the television off and on, just like the remote does. They can even change the channels for you! Try it! You don't have to miss your favorite show because the remote is lost in the mysterious black void of despair (aka between the couch cushions).

I don't know why, but personally I like getting up and using the buttons on the TV/Satellite box to change the channel instead of the remote.

It's good exercise :).
I don't watch TV at all, but I don't mind getting up.
Altough I never really lose the remote. It's always on the table, on the spot-where-i-put-the-remote or between the couch cushions :).
Apart from that, my TV Is really never on. And when I turn it on it's usually on the AV input, not on any channel. No need for zapping there.

Just got called by a crying friend who told me some no good pieces of sh*t had thrown her bike into some sort of drop. It was beyond repair.
She told me it really was an awful bike but she felt so sorry for it.
And altough I really love her and don't want her to feel bad, I couldn't help but thinking it was really cute. I can feel sorry for materialistic 'things' too, sometimes. And it doesn't happen everyday that someone else does.

Anyway, she had to walk so I walked with her on the phone.
Couldn't pick her up as she is 200 kilometres away. Pity.

It's been snowing all weekend! Beautiful and amazing but I have an exam tomorrow and i'm unsure about it being on.

I've always hated shopping. If I'm shopping for myself then I'm in as few shops as absolutely necessary before buying what I want and going home. Most of the time women don't seem to do this, they shop around. They go from shop to shop and back again all day before finally buying things. I've always hated shopping with women (or most women, anyway) even when I was a kid and would find myself shopping with my mam and my sister or should I say being dragged from shop to shop all day.

You do make a valid point. If a woman drags me around the shops all day then I'm gonna be miserable. Surely this is not enjoyable for her? Surely she would have a much more enjoyable experience if she took a friend of hers who would be much more enthusiastic about the whole thing?

Window shopping is what gets me: going around shops for the sake of looking without any real intention of buying anything. There are a couple of places I can do that, bookshops, music stores and game places, but generally it's with the intent of finding something that I want to buy, or checking to see whether they have something I want for a later purchase.

Shopping itself... tbh, I don't actually mind it that much. Clothes shopping is a pain; if I need clothes I go out for them myself and have it done in 1/4 of the time some of my exes have spent on one item...

Hate shopping. Really hate it, except for music stores.
I get blackouts in any clothing or shoestore you put me in, so I refuse to go there.
I buy my t-shirts at concerts and my shoes at the record store.
That's not a joke ;)

Such a lazy weekend. I did basically nothing yesterday and it was my birthday. Today has been even worse since I've slept the whole day.
