I was once out in town for a night out when my Australian cousin decided she had enough and wanted to go home so I saw her into a taxi and she left. The next morning she told me that the driver took her around the world to get home. She knows the place well enough to know that but not well enough to be able to direct him. He clearly heard the accent and figured she wouldn't have a clue.
He tried to charge her £35. Last taxi I got for the same journey was £15. She actually told him to f uck off and said he could have £10. He took it.
