Woah, Solomon Burke died today. I feel sorry for all of his 21 children, 90 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

I also ended up having some of this which was not pleasant but well worth the free pint I got out of it.

Your weekends are a lot different than mine, Mojo, especially since I'd never eat mega death sauce...and especially not for beer!!

My weekend was very nice. On Friday my child's elementary school had its school carnival with a cake walk (which I always loved when I was in elementary school) and lots of games. Excited kids and parents filled the school, and the children's excitement is infectious.

Then today the folk dance group I'm part of got together for the first time in a long time. I remembered how much I love folk dancing, especially Bulgarian dancing! It's kind of like group sex...except without the sex. ;) you touch, you laugh, your heart rate gets up, and you do all kind of fun moves, accompanied by whooping and whistling.

In case you don't know what Bulgarian folk dancing looks like or how Bulgarian folk music sounds, here is a nice example:

Spent all day on the road, which blows.

On a side note, I'm not in Kentucky anymore, which is amazing.

I always felt Kentucky was very lovely. Lots of horses. What do you have against Kentucky, Crash?
