Yeah, I agree! You may as well apply for it, there's nothing to lose...

I wouldn't mind as much if applying for teaching jobs wasn't so time consuming! For all government schools you have to answer these 5 'Key Selection Criteria' and each response has to be 1 page long with examples from your teaching demonstrating how you meet that criteria. Then a cover letter and CV. It's nuts! I've tried to go a copy and paste job but it's frustrating when each school have different selection criteria! Ahh well. Hope you have been going alright with all of your job hunting too :) I feel ya!

That does sound like a very tedious process but it surely is for the best, for that line of work. I can appreciate how frustrating it must be to spend so much time on your applications for jobs you don't even expect to get. Good luck though! You never know.

My job hunting is not going well at all but I didnt look yesterday so I am about to sit down to it again now. Joy.
