Just got paid literally twice what I expected for my contract. So I'm a little right now and I think I'm gonna go record shopping.

Also, just to add, I love that the shorthand for is "tramp"

I managed to miss both Cake and Broken Social Scene playing this weekend due to my cousin getting married, which kinda sucked. It was a nice wedding at least, but they played Jason Mraz and I couldn't help thinking of this:

That's odd, they came here in the summer or something.

I think it was actually April, to be honest...

In any case, I would've gone, but flying solo would've been a bit stupid.

Just about the only way I go to concerts. Unless I happen to know someone who shares an equal interest in the bands I'm seeing (which hardly ever happens)... and of course they have to have their own money (which rules out basically anyone else)

Isn't that a bit odd? I suppose I should let go of that sort of inhibitions.

I have always thought it too depressing a thought to actually go through with but I think I will do it sometime, go to a show on my own if no one else wants to go.

I've thought that ever since I was super excited to see Hope of the States and a mate of mine dropped me in it at the last minute and told me he wasn't going. I missed it and then a few months later they broke up.
