I drove my friends to Wal Mart at 6am to buy beer, after we stayed up drinking all night. Now I'm finishing my withdrawal from college.

Well, well. Yesterday I received some good news.
It's been years since me and the family have been on a decent holiday and the main reason has always been due to finances or to be more precise...lack of them.
Things have been tight to say the least lately and I have always felt a pang of guilt that the kids ave'nt had a break.

Well the good news is, the wife's mam and dad have offered to pay for an all inclusive 1 week holiday for my family in Spain. :eek:

Remarkable as usually, they are a pair of tight-arses.
Even more remarkable considering the fact that me and the mother-in-law don't see eye to eye. It's a love/hate relationship...she loves me and I hate her.
Seriously though, we don't get on in the slightest and that's putting it mildly.
She is the only person who is capable of actually making my neck ache, just listening to her.

So for the sake of the kids I have to swallow my pride and say, yes.
Even worse, through gritted teeth I heard myself say, thankyou.

WTF! How could I say no?
