I was going to say, what kind of fecking chippy sells tea?!

Yeah dinner from the chippy on sat/sun nights are the bestest. With a can of Irn Bru/Vimpto.

Don't you call your evening meal tea? "Mam, what's for tea?"

Don't your chippies sell tea? Ours do, in a polystyrene cup.

6 euro a pint?? No way that's ridiculous, €4.30 is the norm where i live. You were certainly ripped-off there haha :D
Minimum wage here is €8.65 per hour and is the second highest in Europe so that kind of balances things out a bit.

Needless to say, I was sober for the entire trip.
See, it's not all bad.
It just hurts us tourists :(
I thought going to Ireland, friendly Irish cabbies, lots of green fields... it'd be nice. I was robbed.

What'd you lose?

Wispa is again just milk chocolate but smoother, bubbly, milk chocolate. Quite similar to an Aero if you get them, but much better.

Mint Aero = little piece of heaven

Here it's breakfast, dinner, tea, then supper.
In that there London it's breakfast, lunch, dinner/supper.

FETCHER. 09-07-2010 05:11 PM

I'm certainly not posh. You have never heard my thick accent haha  On the accent front, I wanted to make a video on my accent for a surprise accent in the accent thread. But I have no cam software.... WAAAAH :(.
