I usually do that for interviews. The way I look at it is...if I can't come up with something impressive/relevant on the spot, then why should I have the job? After all, you'll be winging it for the most part while you are actually working. I guess that depends on your job, though. Maybe this is flawed logic, but it has worked for me.

Spent most of it reading a website about anomalies in Beatle recordings. Mostly it was unbelievably tedious but there was a few interesting little things.

off for Nandos and to see Scott Pilgrim tonight, sweet, glad to be getting out the house.

I'm shocked to see Dinosaur Jr playing Bug though, J. Mascis doesn't like it much.

I know. That's why it's even more special, it's my favourite album as well. This is such good news.

What's the deal with so many bands just performing one album in its entirety live? Slint did it back in 2007 with Spiderland and I know Built to Spill did in in 2008 with Perfect from Now On. I'm not really complaining too much, The Soft Bulletin is my second favourite album by The Flaming Lips, but I hope that they play MORE than just that album. If they're not then it kind of sucks for fans who prefer other albums and want to hear songs off the rest of their discography.

Well, it's an album show after all so I don't really think people should go into it wanting any more than just the album. It's a 14 track album too (well, 12 if you don't include the Race For The Prize and Waitin' For A Superman mixes) so really they COULD get another 2-4 tracks in there as generally, Flaming Lips sets are usually around 15/16 songs long, but again I wouldn't ever expect it.. it'd just be a bonus.
