Paramore, Justin Bieber. Why are you protecting these twats? What do you actually do? Stand at the door and make sure no one without a ticket doesn't get in? Is this a full time job?

it's part time. the job i do most often is work an entrance gate and do pat downs/searches. and i just work what events they hold, i don't get to choose. in indy, there isn't a ton to pick from. i'm not working security in NYC or anything. indy isn't that huge.

Make sure you do thorough searches for the laydees. or do you not search the girls? I imagine you'd search the fellas and just check the girl's bags. That's what happens at my team's football ground anyway. Your job seems like a job I'd like. Easy enough, and nice hours. (I don't like mornings.)

it isn't that great of a job. it is miserable if you are at a post by yourself, if you have someone to chat with it is fine. my main gripe is the pain i get in my lower half from standing in one place for hours on end. and trust me, hot ladies get searched thoroughly.

Oh, I work in an office on the phone. 9-5 type stuff, and I want a job where I can earn money by doing less. I've been doing this 4 months. Security makes sense for me, I'd prefer to start work at 5pm and finish at 12 but if I can't sit down then there's no chance. Can't you just sit on the floor when you're by yourself?

I like your style, let the mingers pass but search the hotties.

i am fairly sure one of my co-workers would rat me out if they saw me sitting. my supposed aim is to appear professional at all times. apparently, sitting down isn't professional. and i couldn't care less what people bring in as long as it isn't a deadly weapon. fuck the man.

If you're on your own, like sometimes you are. Who would know? 5 minute sit downs here and there wouldn't go a miss. Just sit so one of your knees is up, so if someone comes - pretend to tie your shoelace. F*ck professionalism!

Deadly weapons? What about people trying to smuggle their own alcohol in?

I wish I had a better job.

Fuckers. Doing a job where you have to stand up would be shitty. I thought about working in a music/DVD store, mainly for the discount. But you have to stand up for hours on end, and it's probably worse money than I'm on now. But the discount would be great.

I think we lack ambition. We're not asking for a lot, we just want something that pays decent enough where we have to put in a minimal amount of effort.
