This morning i have nursed a small hangover which is just about gone and now I am off to Beamish museum. I haven't been there for years but i used to absolutely love it there. So excited.

I saw it advertised for Christmas and it did look nice, did you try the mutant vegetables in the garden?

The mutant vegetables? No, i'm not entirely sure what it is you are referring to. I saw where they grow the vegatables up near the farm though.

There is this kitchen bit at one of the houses and they let you try this vegetable which is half turnip half cabbage.

My day is shaping up pretty nicely, taken care of finances and groceries so the family is going to be well fed... it's just grossly sticky and hot outside, though, and it's still a work day, so that balances out any nice feeling i have about the day...lol...

Weird. I did not see that. I did go in the houses but maybe they had no one doing that today. There was a woman baking and serving rhubarb pie in one of them which was awesome. It was still hot and everything.
