Well today was MUCH, of daysbetter than the last couple of days.... work went great, things at home were much more settled, fun and loosened up... now i am listening to the lovely download of The Suburbs by Arcade Fire and being quite happy about that! Yay me!

Day off tomorrow, so it only gets better!

I love Primus. I feel that I MUST see them in concert this fall while they're back together--don't want to miss this opportunity. But, surprisingly, none of my friends like Primus. What do you guys do when you want to see a concert but don't have any friends that like the band?

I say either find a friend who is okay going to see a band they aren't into or just go by yourself.

Have you ever gone to a concert by yourself?

Go by yourself... I went to alot of concerts my friends weren't into... had a great time and wound up talking to many other fans of my favorite bands, heck, there's a good chance you'll hook up with a potentially good friend that way...

Yep, a couple times. Obviously it's not as fun as going with friends but it's definitely more fun than not going at all.

Go by yourself. It can be just as fun. And, if you're outgoing enough, you can make new, better, cooler friends who like Primus.

Thanks for all the input, folks. I'm one of those people who's really open and outgoing with my friends but kinda shy about meeting new people. So, I still haven't made up my mind but I'm actually thinking about it. It's tough to talk people into going to a Primus concert when tickets are $30 plus Ticketmaster fees...

If you go by yourself don't go planning on meeting people just go planning on enjoying the band (Primus are great live BTW). I've definitely gone to some shows by myself where I ended up talking to people and some shows by myself where I didn't talk to anyone. The real point is just enjoying the music.

Exactly what Janszoon said...
