also today my boss kept asking me why i cancelled my saturday shift and if it was because the festival this weekend i repeated no several times. before he kept pushing me and pushing me. so I shouted "i have a ****ing family funeral Jim, is that okay with you eh?" He swiftly left the staffroom awkwardly. prick.

I was told that my research question was not convincing and will have to find something else to write about. I wish I asked my professor before writing my paper.......twice :o:. I hope I can finish before Sunday.

this week will never end! i swear time slows down when you're approaching a holiday.

i'm spending next week in Transylvania, hiking around the Carpathians and hunting vampires. should be good fun :)

I find it funny that there is drama even in a research laboratory. We have a grad student who does absolutely nothing. He doesn't find the most basic of information vital to his project, he takes 2 hour lunch breaks, comes late, and leaves early. How he expects to get a phd is beyond me. He didn't show up today and my PI walks in and asks where he is and we all say we haven't seen him. He just goes..."This is gonna be bad..." That is after a near blowup after last week's lab meeting...you would think this kid would learn.

Not to benefit from someone else's issues, but now I'm coming out looking like the Golden Child.
