nursed a hangover, tried unsuccessfully to figure out when I finished a bottle of gin last night, also tried unsuccessfully to find the owner of a red bag left at my place last night, considered clearing away all the empties, thought better of it and watched movies and ordered thai food instead. also trying to remember what my boss might have said to the cop who came round to break up the party (who was the same cop who hit on me last week after pulling me over to check my documents when i was drunkenly wandering home at 3am), I don't like that he knows where I live but I'm pretty sure my boss backed me up that I'm simply a canadian photographer working on a project in turkey and the middle east.

Flicking through the TV and I come across an England vs New Zealand women's cricket match.

They still throw like girls

Played on the playground, in the sandbox, played tag, ate ice cream and cookies.
I love my job.

This is sad. :( It just makes me grateful for having wonderful parents.

Today I watched the first Harry Potter movie, and quoted basically every single line along with the actors. And although I feel like quite the loser, I still cant help feel proud of myself for remembering all the words throughout the years. Things like this are my true aims in life. Sad, but true

I feel the same with 'Empire Records'. There's some sense of satisfaction in it!

Today I spent hanging out with my friend, with the intention of going to the beach for some lunch. Instead we met up, went to 8 different pubs and spent the day getting sunburnt. I did only have one beer throughout the day though, so I'm particuarly proud of myself.

I also bought one of these (the hat, not the girl):

But in hindsight, when I put it on I just look like I'm about to sell something dodgy that 'fell off the back of a lorry'. After I succeed in cutting down drinking and giving up smoking, I'm really going to try and cut down my habit of ridiculous impulse purchses.

Today was goodish, so was yesterday. It seems I am very good at ignoring problems. I have no idea wither this is good or bad. However least I'm not mopey.

Today was pretty great

We had a picnic where I made hummus & pita chips and fattoush, never made either (pita chips excluded) and they were really delicious. Oh and fireworks

But the weirdest part of it was the place we were waiting in, the parking lot, there was a stabbing, I guess some mob rose up out of nowhere and were kicking the **** out of this old guy, and it was the old guy that was waiting next to us. We were narrowly missed by this missed because I decided to go into the g-ay bar to play some pool while traffic cleared. Pure freaky.

Wow i would imagine that has to be a little scary? To know you potentially just narrowly avoided a situation like that?
