I feel kind of spoiled today. $70 was spent towards school-clothes in pants alone, and I just blew $50 at a record store. To a jobless 16-year-old 120 bucks is like a fortune.

Today, I'm recovered from my flu, and I went longboarding today topped off with some guitar, which I had been waiting so long during my period of not feeling well to practice and today, I had some fun on it. :thumb:

Yay, I'm done with exams! My flatmates and I celebrated by going to a few pubs and doing a shisha. They finally convinced me to join the gym after four years of avoiding it and I went yesterday for the first time... I enjoyed it even if I'm a bit sore today.

Did an all-nighter to make a genuine start on my dissertation, and I think I'm finally on to a good idea for it now, which is alright I guess. Now I've just gotta re-introduce some kinda sanity to my sleeping pattern by staying awake 'til nightfall. A well-timed Beatles marathon might just do the trick...

So my car has been playing up for a while now... and then a little light popped up on the dashboard:

Which apparently means 'check engine' (I gathered this from the episode of Big Bang Theory where Penny's 'check engine' light comes on). Took my car to the mechanics today... $1300 to repair. Fuck. This. Shit.
