Well today just sucked. In work i learned that my hours are being cut back, so i'll be working either a 3 day week or a 4 day week depending. I'll guess i'll have a bit more free time on my hands. I feel like going out and getting pissed tonight but nobody seems to be around. Balls

I just got back from an extended lunch break at the lake, where I began my summer tan. I'm a little pink. It's a beautiful day.

Busy day off today, but it should be fun... going to a charity walk in honor of a colleage who passed away last year, then it's off to the in laws for family birthday celebration - ish type things... busy, but good!c hopefully involving beer and / or other liquid intoxicants.
So glad it's not work for me today...

Got myself a new job today. Well, not really new...it is a lab I worked in before studying plant genomics. Now I can finally focus on my grad school applications instead of worrying about employment. Plus I can get the hell out of my parent's house. I can't tell you how much it sucked living with them after being on my own for 6 years.

Today was all about doing errands. After getting in at about 2 AM from my Vampire gaming session I slept till 6:30 AM, woke up, decided to reinstall WoW and as the massive update patches were downloading I went out for breakfast. After breakfast I came home, made myself a proper cup of coffee, diddled around on my computer for a bit, then decided to get to work. I seriously managed to do all of this in the time span of two hours from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
01. Get gas for my car 02. Get a hair cut 03. Get a 2x2 4' piece of cedar to use as a jam for the sliding door 04. Check mailbox at UPS store 05. Get my car washed 06. Get my car smog checked 07. Visit Borders and pick up a new book 08. Go next door to World Market and pick up a 6 pack of Labatt Blue for 6 dollars 09. Go home and make a panini sandwich Yeah I think today was the most productive day I've had in a very long time. |
