I got a black Mazda 2. She's pretty tough for a small car actually.

This isn't so much about today as it is about last night...
Last night was the second show of the series of reunion shows that we've been playing with our original band. We were scheduled to play from 7-11. Upon arrival, menacing vibes were creeping around. We had to park next door at the place we had played the previous night, our guitarist had to pay for his first beer (very uncommon when you're in a band), and people were just generally being lame and standoffish. People were complaining about the volume, like rock bands aren't loud or something. Granted, 7 is a little early to start, but there are better ways to let us know than sending your ****-neck bar back up to the stage ordering us to cut it off.

We didn't lose our cool. We just put our guitars down and went outside before we did something stupid. My brother smoothed things over with the owner and we got the okay to come back at 10:30 and start again.

And that we did. After some booze-pounding in the parking lot and **** talk, 10:30 rolled around and we went back inside and killed it. We played an hour less than we were supposed to, and we still got paid full price.

So now today is Mother's Day, and it's sunny and cool outside. Not off to a bad start.

Went to a 70th birthday party last night not exactly a thrilling night but my dad delivered a killer line.
I said
"just as well we didn't bring the dog he would have mauled about six OAP's by now."
My dad says.
"Nah he'd love it the smell of piss would overwhelm him"
lol.
The DJ played 90's dance pop all night but near the end spotted my Doors shirt and put on Light My Fire which was good.

My mum loved her balls expensive truffle bar
Then I'm going to go play pool/hit on the hot bartender. Should be lovely.
